trying to get my old bike to run again so my brother has one when he comes to visit, the good news is that it should be doable to swap the crankshaft and drive gear, the bad news is I need a tool to pull the cranks off the crankshaft and also who'd've thunk, the 15 year old Shimano Nexus 7 that has never seen any maintenance is probably shot

tbh it looks doable to take the thing apart to look at it and maybe just drench it in oil and regrease like the manufacturer recommends but idk if I want to
