@onfy oh that one's pretty easy to take apart, but you might need one of those batteries with a wire and a connector

@onfy I have one of the late OGs and it's like half an hour of undoing screws to take it down to the board, so far I've had to do that twice

@onfy the slim is real easy, it just pops open, dunno about the Gamecube but I bet it's not too bad to work on
@noiob the battery is soldered in the gamecube
@onfy it's just a very complex design, Sony first-gen consoles are usually overbuilt
