had an idea Kinect games, but VR with motion controls and inverse kinematics as VR usually does for limbs.

@LottieVixen why choose. you can use a Kinect for full body tracking. it sucks ass but it technically does work

@noiob reason is accessibility I don't recall most kinect games having the ability to play in seated position and while the kinect is cheaper VR is mildly popular and I feel most games could be adapted to give them a second wind or just used as inspiration

@noiob turns out there was a v2 that got decent at seated play... well still think VR could be a revival of it.

I wonder if it was just ahead of its time. Nowadays the same tech is in every iPhone and if Microsoft made a webcam-style Kinect for vtubers they'd sell a ton
