There's a lot of things I already love about Android / my new phone, but the Apple Music app isn't one of them

kinda ironic

things I like:
the fingerprint scanner is fast and in exactly the right spot (but it's easy to press the lock btn right after unlocking since it's the same part)
the LG software is pretty good (except for the homescreen but it's easy to switch that out)
I love gBoard, always have
my watch works so hecking great with Android, fuck iOS in that regard
The camera(s) are fun to play around with, hope it'll get sunnier soon so I can test their full potential
the screen is p sweet

things I don't like:
I still haven't quite understood how notifications work and how they don't? especially if I hide sensitive ones (they'll show up on my watch regardless, so that's pretty neat). I just wish they worked like on iOS
LG has built in a weather app except you can't launch it instead of from the LG home screen (lolnope), why?
I didn't think it would matter, but I'd prefer the headphone jack to be at the bottom
music artwork could be displayed better

lgg6/droid album art ramblings

funny thing is that iOS 11 did away with the big album artwork on the lockscreen (which is a crime tbh) and also the hecking Apple Music app doesn't seem to put artwork properly half the time

I spent ages trying to find a good way to put big album artwork on my lockscreen but gave up when I realized that it wouldn't show up half the time

oh yeah this doesn't warrant an extra post but I love that I can put DuckDuckGo as home screen search as it should be
