If you use macOS this is your reminder that you can give your USB sticks custom icons if you want to! Folders too! awoo.space/media/b25at-wcsh6iQ

@noiob i once took a picture of a friend
and changed every single icon our schools mac to his face (on the desktop at least)

that was kinda fun actually, loved that about macOS :D

@MochiWaifu back in the days of Mac OS Classic games n stuff added artwork to folders by exactly tiling tiny files with preview icons in there!

@MochiWaifu I'm guessing that's why they added the option to have a background image in a folder, which still gets some use, for example when installing Firefox awoo.space/media/xCoObjlnEhRvO

@noiob I wish windows installers were that fancy

then again, that's just drag and drop while windows needs to have a million registry entries :<

@MochiWaifu They don't even do the fullscreen blue-to-black gradient anymore :janisad:

@noiob true
although, I'm sorta glad? Makes multi tasking a bit easier :3

@MochiWaifu you're supposed to close all running software before installing anyways! do you want it to go wrong?

@noiob ah true, how could i forget!! but don't worry, i'll make sure to reboot after installing!

@MochiWaifu also remember to defragment once a week and run a registry cleaner after uninstalling something!*

*serious note: don't run registry cleaners please
