Guardian US writers challenge Guardian UK transphobia
@MyQueerHeart I'll be interested to see if that makes a difference. For me, that editorial stance leaves them dead to me; they've long ago embraced Both Sides, problematic per se, but to see that employed to couch outright bigotry in a pseudointellectual candy coating was one step too far.
(Petty, but I may subscribe to the Independent and send the Grauniad a copy of the receipt and an explanation)

I agree, it is simply the latest in a long, long pattern of transphobic bile they seem unwilling to admit to.
Framing the most recent instance as merely a single unfortunate misstep in a sea of accolades and triumphs.. As a rallying cry for internal change, that goes past 'tepid' and into a level of revisionism I am unwilling to endorse or applaud.
