I planned to write up a schedule to try and structure my time better but ran into the problem of being too tired to do anything all day
Which feels a bit "that's going to be a problem with this whole idea" since it's more common than not x.x
(idk, input from people in similar positions appreciated, equally just talking out loud)

@pastelbat tho we don't have difficulty doing showers & food & meds & teethbrushing
when we wake up,
shower & food come first,
since they feel like prerequisites for clothes & meds.
also they can be done partially simultaneously: drying off while eating, showering while food heats
toothbrushing & clothes are secondary priorities to do Whenever
we keep some things closeby in our bedroom, meds & toothbrush+paste, so it's easy to just pick things up
idk if that's helpful

@pastelbat also shortcuts are ok.
sometimes a shower is just standing under warm/hot water and letting it run over your body and soak your hair for 2 minutes.
sometimes food is whatever little thing i can just shove in my mouth right now.
sometimes it can feel good to be partially dressed but not want to bother getting entirely dressed.
we don't bother to use toothpaste when we brush our teeth in the evening.
idk if this helps either!

@kitsch @pastelbat my current thinking around this is: you probably don't really want to structure your time. what you probably want is to get some specific thing(s) done. (or to not do some other specific things?)
a schedule makes sense if you're doing things, just not necessarily at the right times. if your problem looks more like distraction or procrastination, you probably want something else? e.g. I'm thinking I should try a todo list with 1 item on it next.

@pastelbat i think lioness is trying this, maybe you can ask her? ^^
we've had difficulty approaching the idea of structured time.
we're often unsure how reliable our sleep or adhd meds or food details will be.
plus, our parents accusingly pushed vague ideas about "you need to structure your time [so you will do what i want you to do]" at us and it never worked.
i've heard that for adhd, "planning a task" is itself a task that needs to have time set aside for, if that helps
