i'm a bit of a spacesuit purist. i can totally appreciate the slim fit but i like the bulk of a proper suit.
keeping yourself cool is the first thing you gotta do in space; keeping yourself warm is second to that, and the typical response is to just make sure there's a lot of cooling going on via a fluid circulation layer in the suit itself. that shit is bulky.
reason why they have those big packs full of life support tech; good part's batteries, good part's pumps
tho the mf nearly passed out of heat exhaustion and they thought they'd have to re-enter with the door open cuz there was no way they were pulling the guy in if he was unconscious
so i reiterate; cooling systems! have them!
