today i just suddenly remembered when i was in middle school, one day, i found a rock that looked like a meteorite, just barely smaller than my palm, in my locker

and OF COURSE i proceeded to lose it. all i know is that it's somewhere in this house. maybe i'll find it again after scraping through this house

it was pretty black, covered in shallow craters, but looked nothing like numerous basalt pictures my friends sent me (at least as far as i recall)

@scoliwings if you find it, an easy test you can do is to see if it sticks to a magnet. most meteorites are magnetic and most rocks aren't
