Watched the first two episodes of Leverage last night. Tipping point was seeing that there was a WisCon panel about it. It's entirely ridiculous but definitely fun.
@starkatt I recommend that anybody who enjoys Leverage and can listen to the DVD commentaries, do.
@sev huh! Maybe? I'm intrigued but am unsure if that's a level of depth my watching partner is up for. What's great about them?
@starkatt Rodgers does commentary on every episode, with interesting bits about craft, and insight into how they made their decisions, and lots of great moments that turn out to have been improvised (mostly the actor that plays Hardison) and a bunch of cases where something seems like it was ripped from the headlines, but actually the episode was in the can days before the news stories broke.
The discussion of craft is my favorite, but the rest is good too.
A lot of the writing in Leverage is weird and hilarious in ways that I *think* are unintentional but it's hard to tell.
