something i've thought about: in Eve 1 million ISK is basically pocket change. so is the currency hyperinflated or are the numbers we deal with so big because we're buying like... spaceship parts

@kinsey in most universes I tend to assume that spaceships represent an incredible concentration of wealth. They're big, complex, highly-engineered, and safety-critical.

@starkatt @kinsey I think Eve's lore is that capsuleers are all the hyper-1%. Disposable bodies, disposable crew, and frequently dealing in sums of cash that would affect a modest-sized nation.
