Okay, so apparently a toot from last week is still getting boosted and I'm getting unexpected followers. So let me be clear:

Even if boosts do feel nice, I'm ultimately here to make connections with people, not Build An Audience. I want to be able to talk about shit going on in my life. If it starts feeling like I can no longer do that, something has gone wrong.
Follows are open because I want to be a little less gated. However, if you followed just because you see me as a source of content and not as a person to get to know, I'd kind of prefer for you unfollow me.
