I miss working with silver. Really should re-do the wire wrap on that meteorite fragment necklace. Broke years ago and I didn't get around to fixing it.
Fine metals teacher, early in the class: "I know it's more expensive, but you'll actually be really happy when you start working in silver instead of copper. It's just such a nicer material to work with."
Me: "Sounds fake but okay."
Me, a month later: "Oh shit she was totally right, silver is magical."

@mawr I'm down! Super out of practice though, and I was never more than a student.
Also it's a lot of $$ for equipment, especially hot-working gear.
