etrian odyssey has got me through so many flights and bus rides
more recently, i've added podcasts to my arsenal after i discovered they keep me much more occupied than music–especially ones that create universes and tell stores
the adventure zone is a good example of this, though i'll admit it starts out pretty bad (the rockport limited is when things start getting really nifty, and it just keeps getting better)
@ctrlaltdog@chitter.xyz i can't sleep in chairs, scenery and ambiance can only keep me occupied for so long, and i usually can't talk with people i'm traveling with for that long (though maybe i could if i had more in common with them), so road trips make me extremely bored, and figuring something like this out is a must for me
