people continue to have trouble with the concept that oppressed groups making blanket statements about their oppressor group doesn't necessarily implicate any particular individual of that group

a technically true but completely unhelpful way to dismiss the problems of the marginalized, and to ignore the power dynamics that cause it to be a problem in the first place
it just screams not recognizing the privilege of not having people with more power than you having the ability to make your life miserable
