@thingywott not directly affected by this bc im a splatoon enjoyer and i will read your splatoon posts either way, but personally i much prefer cws because i cannot be bothered to add filters for every subject i might not be interested in

i mainly wanted to ask because i know people who often post stuff i don't care much for with a hashtag (that i did eventually filter out)
but if they cw'd those posts instead, they would have still existed on my timeline
the fact their content would have been hidden wouldn't have changed how their existence affected me personally because i didn't find anything about them mentally troubling
for me, it was more a matter of frequency, rather than hiding the contents
