i wanna make a racing video game
i want to make a racing video game for one reason: so i can implement a custom radio station that lets the player listen to whatever music they want via mp3s (and, knowing me, probably tracker music and other music formats too)
seriously, if forza horizon 4 had a custom radio station it'd be game of the year for me hands down

@typhlosion I really want to try the Forza Horizon series because it looks like it captures a similar vibe and mentality to Paradise and I've never found another racing game to scratch that itch

@LottieVixen @typhlosion custom soundtracks were the best feature of the xbox 360 and it is a crime that they didn't put it into the xbox one
@codl @typhlosion I didn't know the 360 had that! and I owned two...
@LottieVixen @typhlosion yeah if you played music from the little in game system menu thing, most games would mute their own soundtrack

@LottieVixen @codl @typhlosion didn't they design TrueSkill for Forza? I remember skimming that paper on MS Research back when and looking into Forza / the 360 after that.

@typhlosion Burnout Paradise has that functionality and it's definitely one of the reasons that's my favourite racing game ever
