the most frustrating thing about this game for me is the fact that people are not going to stop having hot takes about it until well after it comes out, which means i have to sit through people's thinkpieces about whether such and so a thing related to it is or is not problematic or is or is not handled well, or whether keanu reeves or whoever else is "canceled" for working on it, or what have you, for almost the next fucking year

general grumbling, tangent from 2077
the mode of discussion seems, as with so many other topics, to be people slinging unnuanced opinions at each other without actually listening to or considering things that might refine their viewpoint
it comes off less like having an honest discussion and more like just cracking wise and then looking around the audience with your hands out like "video game bad, amirite my fellow queers"
not to say everyone's doing this but i see it enough and it sucks
