code base a mess. so many of these instructions are straight up unimplemented. lots of code repetition, not enough comments... well, at least it compiles
i guess the first order of business is to see if there's any place i can do code reuse or otherwise reduce the size of the (frankly abominably large) datapath file where the instructions are implemented, then finish up the rest of the instructions... maybe after that, try using the interrupt controller i had coded up and test out interrupt handling somehow? and then if all that works, i guess that'll be the cpu portion mostly done
