@typhlosion There is a lot of fun about it! There is also a lot of weakly documented software full of bizarre quirks last updated by someone with a name like 'WhiteFang' in 1994.

@Austin_Dern on the other hand, that can always change if enough interest in the genre picks up. inform 7 is an amazing tool that only exists because of people who love parser-based text adventures, and retro console homebrew has gotten a lot of modern software love too, so i think mu*s should be next in line for a renaissance. maybe we can bring back irc while we're at it

@typhlosion @Austin_Dern the cool thing about mu*s is that it's like secondlife or vrchat but you don't have to know 3d modelling to make your own character, and your character can freely break any laws of physics, mathematics, or propriety you want
