thinking about it, the least realistic part of the resident evil games starring police is the idea that an american cop would *fight* an evil corporation that's explicitly ruining the lives of civilians in an obvious way, rather than protecting them and helping them cover it up

apparently leon is a rookie cop in re2 so you could chalk it up to inexperience, but surely he would have gotten a dressing down about it sometime between then and 4

though i do think it's very funny that the events of re2 apparently happen in part because leon is late for his first day on the job. very professional

@typhlosion yeah leon had to deal with all that shit on his first day, so you could say he got lucky not having to be a real cop
