next project is to try to get networked storage set up and connect my ps2 to the internets so i can load my games from The Clound. i'll just need... some way to ethernet <- wifi, and a computer that can actually do the storage
quick update before bed, if anyone cares: i tried out the ps2 network share thing using my laptop (the only device within range of my ps2 that has an ethernet port), and... it worked! i was able to load ace combat zero onto my ps2 from my laptop, which was wild to see
not a permanent solution because i dont like having my laptop tethered like that, but it was good for learning how to even get it set up in the first place
@typhlosion iirc there is a way to slap together a raspberry pi to do the same thing with minimal fuss, i forget what it is but it's a generalized solution that not only works for PS2 but other things too
@typhlosion ah-ha found it
...it's pretty out of date so maybe don't connect this to the internet, especially since it uses a really old samba to connect to the PS2 lol
@EeveeEuphoria yeah im gonna use a Le Potato board for this and a couple other purposes
@EeveeEuphoria (just gotta wait til i get paid lol)
if anyone has any advice about this, please do let me know
