are there connoisseurs of hot cocoa drinks the way there are for wine and coffee and cocktails? and if so, how do i become one

@typhlosion "Oh, you drink Swiss Miss? No, that's fine, I guess, if you like Dust."

@typhlosion Step One: Drink lots of different cocoas. Step Two: Have opinions about them. Easy! :D

Food, hot cocoa chatter

@nev @typhlosion *waves* Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

I will say I'm more into drinking chocolates than hot cocoa, but good cocoa is still awesome and makes such a difference.

Basically, you ever want to talk hot cocoa and how you dive into learning tastings, I'm game! That being said learning how to taste chocolate, applying a lot of that to drinking chocolate, and trying a bunch of stuff is really about it. And I say that both as a drinking chocolate fan and as someone who has judged drinking chocolates before.

@typhlosion first consume as many yummy types of toasty cocoa juice as you can find, start adding your own spices, grab that espresso machine from the garage sale and use the milk steamer to make the hot cocoa fluffy.. at some point you'll start telling people about how this one way tasted better than this other way and BAM next thing you know the snobbisours guild is banging down your door to give you weird wig and a stuck up accent.

@JulieSqveakaroo i dunno about a cult, but i could see myself starting a chocolate tasters' secret society
