Someone in gaming group I'm in posts about how devs are issuing DMCA takedowns on PDP because he Said The Bad Word. I point out that this is HELLA problematic and not how DMCAs are meant to be used and now I'm the bad guy and claiming he's being "censored"

@vahnj I don't like the precedent it sets personally. Game devs already think they can use DMCA takedowns to remove bad reviews and whatnot. I'm not saying PDP shouldn't be punished (he should have a long time ago) but I am Not About this method of doing it.

@witchfynder_finder *shrugs* I'll let a court decide that, for now I'd rather fight against racism using whatever tools are available. It's a rare chance to use a broken system for good instead of for bad so, whatever.

@vahnj IMO he shouldn't have even had a YouTube account anymore in the first place on which to HOST the video(s) that got DMCA'd but... -shrug-
Also I'm sorry that sentence was a trainwreck but I'm p caffeinated at the moment and also still dealing with brain chemicals from the Facespace argument.

Honestly it's rare that fighting racism is ever directly actionable and I'm for taking it given the opportunity
