car stuff

oh hey, looking at buying a new car since like, the old one needs so much work to be roadworthy again a NEW car might actually be cheaper.

Time to have the fun dance of "do I dare buy a manual transmission car and learn manual just to save some bucks/drive some of the super cute subaru options?" vs "I could probably just by a honda civic"

car stuff (open to suggestions)

Dealerships I have access to here:

Honda
Subaru
Toyota
Ford
Hyundai
Kia

What I'm looking for:

-occasional commute to food or post office.

-aside from short jaunts in town, all other driving is canadian mountain highways. They're not bad, but snow is a thing I see a lot of here.

-small ideally. I see an SUV in this list and I'll be upset.

-hatchback ideal. TBH I don't ever plan on even needing rear seats.

-automatic ideally.

-cheep.

@Draekos

The impreza hatches are very nice! Fairly cheap for a new vehicle, solid fuel economy, AWD.

Crosstrek is on the same platform, just a bit taller, may find deals on them because they are very popular.
