Today I learned "Long Time, No See" and "No can do" both take their origins from asian and american indigenous racism (mocking their speech patterns) which makes sense the moment you think about it. :blobnotlike:

It really seems sometimes like there is no escape from white supremacist culture in the united states, and I'm so sick of living here :blobsob:

@mawr I had no idea. It was so pervasive where I grew up. I guess that sort makes sense.
