Work Things
Honestly, I was seriously worried about converting over to a sprint based workflow since every team I've ever worked on was kaban or tasked based..
After doing sprints with light rituals for 9 months..
Sprints are great for my ADHD.. nobody cares specifically when a task gets done as long as it is done by the time the sprint ends and like.. I don't get crap if I had a bad focus day or something.. it is pretty fucking great.
re: Work Things
@lhos I can definitely see how that could be a problem.. especially since my next major project is probably going be a 6-12 month effort according to my boss :X
Since he built all the stuff I'll be replacing 3 years ago before he was the VP of Engineering.. so I expect he has good idea how much work it will be.

@wobblewuffess Sprints are double-edged IMO; on the one hand they're great in the ways you described (in a word, they're flexible), on the other, they can generate an artificial pressure to produce _something_ every X weeks because "well we need to have something to show for this sprint or else management/stakeholders will get antsy".
