@wolfgang like what kind of body? like skinny limbs and a gut or something? I've been selfconscious about having a body like that since forever but I don't mind as much now, because I guess it's more expected for people who are past their 20s to be "out of shape". I've liked seeing furries in art that have a gut but they're not like SUPER HUGE BEAR body but that's so rare to come by.

@Resni yup. furry twitter tends to gravitate towards either hunks or bears and all of us out of shape folks are left hanging

@wolfgang also wanna say (and this is partly speaking as an artist) a lot of the time it's not even like "this is the hottest type of body" to draw what everyone else does it's just *SO HARD* to draw different body types than other people, it's so much easier to copy what everyone else does than like try to figure out how to draw more true towhat you want to see from the ground up

@wolfgang nah for real tho. almost no one has bodies like are drawn in art, so much of it is based off of superhero comics. sooooo many six packs on furries it's weird. there will even sometimes be six packs drawn on characters with big guts! makes NO irl sense! but I don't want to kinkshame people drawing what they want. that's the thing tho people draw really idealized bodies like not realistic at all, like we don't have super giant animal genitals either xP lol
