There's some piece of shit on Reddit spewing ethnonationalism bullshit about black IQs. Showing him Cosma Shalizi's debunking of the Bell Curve isn't working because of all the big words, so I'm thinking what I'd like to do is sedate him and then have him wake up in a roomful of black physicists in a cocktail jacket with a nice drink in his hand, and let him see how the whole "human intelligence" thing really shakes out for his no-punctuation-usin all-lowercase punk ass.

@001zlnv Yeah, seriously. I made a point of digging fairly deep into the race & IQ debate, and among other things I walked away kind of astounded that we're still using the Stanford-Binet model for much of anything. It certainly doesn't seem to have ever been intended for use with adults...

@LexYeen You might enjoy the Matt Ruff novel "Sewer, Gas, and Electric" aka "The Public Works Trilogy."
It has a variant on that theme in which an ultra-rich libertarian asshole is basically stripped of his money, status, and powers of speech, has a cash acceptor wired to a bomb and his heart, and has to beg for $MONEY_AMOUNT or die in $TIME_LENGTH.
It's all SUPER gratifying. :D There's also a neat argument with an Ayn Rand AI stuck in a hurricane lamp.

@LexYeen And I love ya, hun, but don't you dare tell me what to do with my explosives. I worked hard for those and I can blow up whoever I please. ;D

Or we could just put everyone from /r/TumblrInAction on an African island...
make a reality show where they explain what they learn once put in a position of disempowerment, promising all a safe return to America once they demonstrate their new wisdom...
let 'em learn harsh lessons in communication & tolerance as they're forced to work together & collaborate with dark-skinned people from other islands with all the power & resources...
Then bomb the island. 😺
