Doing okay today!

Had a nice dinner out with @CeruleanK last night, at Uneeda Burger out in Fremont. Got deep-fried cheese curds. Regret nothing.

Checked the mail this morning and found almost all the bureaucratic stuff I was waiting for, including the rest of my insurance docs. Got to clear off _most_ of my to-do list in one go.

Am a little bit ahead on work, and basically enjoying the hell out of playing Carmen Sandiego for a living. The work outage is _definitely_ over, we are _definitely_ not closing up shop, and I should be set through around March.

Got the retinology appointment tomorrow. Still worried about the prospect of {UNPLEASANT MEDICAL PROCEDURE OMITTED}, but I've at least braced myself for every possibility. Mostly I'm just annoyed I'm gonna have to get my pupils dilated.

Heading home to Ohio late Monday. It'll be nice to get away for a bit.
