Postfurry
The longer things go the less I can really answer the question of "what postfurry is". I can tell you how I saw it, as someone who found it far more recently than it might seem (I've admittedly been Postfurry since way before I heard of it).
I saw postfurry as a community (communities, more accurate) around a bunch of Thoughts and Concepts that was emerging out of the venn diagram of "furry, otherkin/nonhuman identity, transhumanism, self-authorship, etc".

Postfurry may not even be a community so much as "the grouping of people naturally born out of the natural development of an emergent ideal".
So yeah we fight and diverge a lot probably naturally because we have history and Shit Changes but we all care about this higher Concept or Ideal in our own ways so much that Endings feel like tearing a limb off. It tends to be more personal to us than we feel comfortable admiting, & we're a lot of traumatized folks that Don't Want To Lose This

But that Ideal, that concept is out there and it's not going away and maybe taking it in our own directions isn't necessarily be a bad thing because nothing can really… take away who we are…self-made, self-developed or otherwise
