@zebratron2084 Polytopes had enough to do with my (failed) first thesis and my (successful) second thesis ... I can take them and, where needed, lay down and step away from them.
(This may be part of why I'm not actually using my thesis for anything.)

(I was actually just about to ask what you thought, as a fellow roadgeek, of the I-238 and how it fucks up our Interstate numbering scheme... or the I-99 and that corrupt piece of shit Bud Shuster. ;p )
@zebratron2084 I had forgotten about I-238, and wasn't aware of I-99, but to be honest, I kind of like them. What's the point of a system that doesn't have just enough screwball anomalies?
(There are great stupid arguments in Star Trek circles about the NCC numbers of starships. I hold the numbers are approximately sequential, with enough gaps, anomalies, and restarts that it's impossible for a starship to have a 'wrong' number for its era. Wrongly, this does not make me popular.)
