gender and characters in our heads
Bought a character rename for my FFXIV character, as it turns out that I'd forgotten you need to end a Roegadyn's name with either "wyn" (daughter of) or "syn" (son of).
A voice in the back of my head is asking, "but what if Aisedza Farrwilfsyn?"
There's not really precedent for this either way? Like, yeah, she could have changed her name. She also could have only changed her first name. Or decided that fuck you, normalizing transness is valuable on its own.
@zebratron2084 I dunno, "making a character more obviously trans (if you happen to know how Roegadyn names work and pay close enough attention to realize she intentionally has a name built that way)" seems like a real low bar. But thank you. <3
