I just did a 9.5 hour shift with a chest cold. But I'm fine. I'm great. I'm amazing. I feel perfectly sane and none the worse for wear. I have a sound mind in a pure body and I'm strong as an ox. They can't touch me, because I'm Garnet, Villanelle, Catra. I'm Saint Hobbes and Suzie Derkins rolled into one. I'm Barbara Gordon, Mary Celeste, Pirate Jenny; I'm Deborah in the Book of Judges, Deirdre of the Sorrows, eating the nightingales among trees. I'm miracle ingredient Z-247. I'm immense. I'm a real slam-bang, honest-to-goodness, three-fisted humdinger. I'm a bona fide Supracat.
*laughs for 37 straight seconds, fails to apologize to Joseph Heller for ripping off Yossarian, clearly enunciates the word "vibescu," then topples over face-first into the bowl of hummus she was struggling to remember how to eat: it goes in the lowermost face hole, that is how you know it is working* 🙀
