Spouse and I went out on a walk and one of the juvenile cooper's hawks came out and perched on a branch by the pond where we could see it clearly, about thirty feet away! I think it was spooked that we immediately stopped and stared for a little while, it stopped squeaking, but we only watched for like half a minute, then let it get on with growing up. such a pretty bird! :D
