re: How I've kept my hair dye looking fresh for 4 months [1/2]
@mawr Thank you for the advice! I haven't tried doing mine in ages, partly because it always disappears fast and leaves it looking a blond that really does not work on me.
Lush is kinda amazing, one of the few self-care brands I'll actually pay extra for. Sadly, "keep hair out of sunlight" is kind of impossible down here in NOLA—I think it's one of the few ways y'all are spoiled in Seattle. >:D
Also, I'm digging the whole Rotisserie Mawr effect. Next year: Kaiten-mawr! :D

@mawr Peg wants me to get a hat, but I just don't think I could see myself as a Hat Guy, and any transformation into Hat Lady is not really on the horizon, so I'm kind of stumped.
I think my only real option is to get a hat that's *so* horrible that it will be read ironically, like one of those plaid Floyd R. Turbo hunting caps, or an ushanka, or maybe a fez.
But then I'd look like Grunkle Stan. And if I had my hair dyed, I'd look like Hippie Grunkle Stan. And that just ain't right.

But have you considered "a hat"

@zebratron2084 It's my pleasure!!
My secret for keeping my hair out of the sun is carrying a hat and wearing it when I'm outside-- but I do that most of the time by default 'cause wind + shoulder-length hair =
