Thank you all for the support. Honestly, while it's super-unnerving to know someone's actively gunning for you... as you've pointed out, this person's history of effective trolling is not exactly strong, and their odds of not overreaching and just making an ass of themselves is approximately 0%. All I gotta do is wave those screenshots around, say "Hey, folks, meet my stalker, the self-confessed abuser," and move right on.

@hystericempress I just... I just don't even know how the fuck to react to something like that. What do you even do in the face of crazy like that, especially when it's determined you hurt it and NOTHING you say can convince it all you want it to do, genuinely, is fuck right off?

@zebratron2084 Oh, my childhood gave me a good deal of insight into this, so allow me to sum up: beat their ass if they show up at your door, and otherwise, let them just sputter and fume. Acknowledge that it is genuinely not your problem to FIX their brainworms; they forfeited any obligation to that, imagined or not, when they decided to go about getting people's attention like this.

@hystericempress Yeah. I genuinely meant it when I said "You have my permission to stop beating yourself up with your imaginary version of me." But it was hard not to feel even a little MORE betrayed when I saw just how... woo-based so many of their grievances are. It's like, "Didn't I distinctly call Not Included at the very start of this little game of Magickal Keep-Away that you're playing with yourself?"

You were not, and are not, responsible for any of that, and like... this whole situation feels like a wildly blown-out version of 'I had a bad dream where a friend did something mean, so now I'm mad at them for real when I wake up' except it never entered the analysis phase of 'real people aren't responsible for your imagination.'

@hystericempress What really annoys me is that one of their rants about postfurry was about how ungrounded WE supposedly were in reality... and turning out that it basically just because it didn't hew with THEIR game rules of "my plurals are really really really really really truly real and conveniently justify whatever havoc I want to do sow with them" is just such a goddamn disappointment. I had such a good self-loathing worked up for absolutely nothing. >_~
