Watched Infinity Train with Peg and was quite impressed. Basically, imagine Adventure Time crossed with the horror film The Cube, only (unlike Adventure Time) concise, and (unlike Cube) actually good. A little heavy handed on the coming-of-age allegory and a little light on the exposition, but the ultra-loose continuity worked for me and left me a little less worried about similar traits of Parallax. Definitely looking forward to Season 2.

Also, @mawr should note there's a Corgi King in it.

A standout moment was the realization several bars into "Word Up" that they had, against all expectation, licensed the real song.

I watched it by piecing together a youtube bootleg and I had no idea whether I was watching it in order until afterward. I had seen the old proof-of-concept and figured the remaking of that was still was the pilot. This really demonstrates the effectiveness of _in medias res_ because by the time I found out there was a setup episode, the only thing left to be revealed was "how'd she get on the train" and the answer was "she got on the train." Arguably they didn't need it.
