Suspicious of the fireworks here. Maybe it's the mountain acoustics but they don't sound like what I am accustomed to fireworks sounding like. Also every blast is setting off about five different car alarms. Why do car alarms react to loud noises anyway? Why does anyone still use car alarms?

@Cerulean I'm with you there, babe. *hug* I've always felt car alarms were a _uniquely_ selfish technology that cheerfully unloaded all the intangible costs onto ones neighbors. Hate 'em... almost as much as I hate cat frighteners—I mean fireworks. >____<
