@zebratron2084 This is on top of us already paying out the kidneys every tax season to the tune of a thousand bucks due to the fact that they impose sharp penalties on unincorporated freelance work, which is absolutely another 'let's just stab the poor in the heart' measure.

@zebratron2084 yeah, the short version is, the [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] appointed by the current administration changed the hourly work requirements on EBT/Snap food assistance, changing it from 40 to 80 per month. we -absolutely- meet the new minimum bar, but to make sure everybody in America is as good and screwed as possible, they just canceled EVERYBODY'S coverage and forced them to reapply. so until that gets resolved we basically cannot afford anything that isn't Just Food.
