French toast, but made by taking bread dough and putting it through a potato-slicer and then frying it like it was French fries.
This probably already exists and I am too cowardly to try.

@Austin_Dern They used to have those at the local steakhouse's breakfast buffet. I think they may have been partially responsible for the death of my father, but he died happy...

@zebratron2084 I am a bit glad to know these existed and are the best version of what I could have imagined.
... A local mini-steakhouse chain is going under, a victim of the pandemic, and while my wife and I never ate there, we regret its passing, because the chain used to be named Mr Steak [ before the Simpsons did that ] and it's a shame to lose that institutional continuity.
