Oh god. It just occurred to me.
If he dies, the conspiracy theories start. He's been tweeting that he feels fine, and that will be used as "clear" evidence that it was not natural causes that did him in.
We're gonna have a Doctors' Plot on our hands.

I'm not sure if it's better or worse, but odds of his survival are actually pretty high at this point.

There's a video out (as of an hour ago or so) of him addressing his status... and I'm going to be completely honest in that it does not sound like him.
The vocal ticks aren't there, and the vocabulary and cadence are not consistent with any of his previous speeches or rants... and the staying on topic... and his hands. Not just the size of his fingers, but that he's not fidgeting or gesturing with them.
I could say that was the medications that he's on, but his eyes do not whatsoever show signs of sedation, nor does his speech.
I'm still unconvinced that this isn't a stand-in.
