@DrSagan Yeah, I did a quick dive and it looks like... they can pinch a little. *shrug* If they do, it _might_ break the skin, in which case you dress it like any other tiny wound. Sounds like even that doesn't happen often, though. Zero cases of ER services related to earwigs according to Orkin and Wikipedia. No known disease transmission either, though they might attract James Joyce fans. (If this happens, I recommend burning your entire building down. *shudder*)

@zebratron2084 ...i like james joyce :blobsadleft:

but really, damn i wonder if my rabbits are ok? i mean they seem to be ok?

@DrSagan Looks like it's about the same deal -- keep an eye out for minor wounds, but nothing life-threatening. rabbitpros.com/earwigs-and-rab I did see a mention of someone claiming they found contrary information saying they could hurt rabbits, but the whole thread looked SUPER uninformed and was full of dumb urban legends about brain-eating and stuff that categorically does not happen so... not credible.

@DrSagan (And I'm just picking on Joyce fans kinda pro forma here. :D )

@zebratron2084 three of the rabbits survived an infestation* of flies to biblical proportions, and the other rabbit used to live in a barn outside

ill keep an eye on them, but in this case they should be fine

*this was not our fault and i will talk shit for over an hour about the person who did cause it
