I feel less safe and secure as a modern adult now knowing that I can, at any time, buy an Optigan for only $4,000.
@anthracite @zebratron2084 I'm really tempted by the iPad app, even if purely out of nostalgia, as I once had an actual Optigan. Such a brilliant bit of design for the time, even if inevitably hampered somewhat by the tech limitations of the time. Yet, what possibilities it opened up! Such a creative solution to sampling, at a time when even ROM of such a size would be prohibitively expensive and bulky.

$4700, I think it's pretty much useless without the controller. Or without a MIDI-based studio setup.
They also have an iPad app for $6, it seems to include about half the original discs, with an IAP of another $6 for the rest.
