Re: LRB, I'm not sure that this is a particularly good or cozy sensation for me.
It feels like those last few chapters of any given Vonnegut novel, where everybody's survived the apocalypse and is huddled together for warmth, but it just doesn't matter.
The people locked in with you are crazy, you don't really feel like you belong here, but hey, you don't belong anywhere else either, and there's nothing really left outside, so... here you are. Enjoy your absurdist fable.
