That last toot reminds me-- you know what else would cheer me up? To FINALLY get that Robotron 2084 Prog/Brain-slash commission I've been wanting for over a decade.

I have commissioned no less than FOUR different artists, talented ones, to do this pic and they've all given up. I don't blame them, people understandably flake out a LOT on my bizarro character designs, but... Dammit, I want this.

I'll put forth the money (I can go up to $40?) but an artist rec would be so groovy

@JulieSqveakaroo Oh, I just want art of one of my characters as one of the Brains from Robotron 2084, Progging someone else's character. Pretty predictable stuff for me, honestly. :D Apparently, Brains and Progs are just really hard to draw, I guess?! At least three of the four who ended up not being able to take the commish just didn't seem to have the retrogaming chops to know WTF was actually going on, honestly, nor how to anthropomorphize 12-pixel characters... :>

@JulieSqveakaroo Oh, I KNOW Llamatron. :D It's what kicked off my fondness for Jeff Minter -- it didn't hurt that it ran like molasses on my PC, so it was actually slow enough that I could get pretty far in it. :) #ScreamingMandy
