Oh and i now have to constantly use a vpn to encrypt my internet usage & connect to a foreign country to protect my metadata because my government now is enforcing mandatory metadata retention where all data has to be stored for 2 years. As both a person who is critical of my government & lgbt i need to protect myself as there is already signs of scope creep on who can access the data without a warrant.
