Tarot of the Fae - Suits

The Blade one cuts the world with, actions and consequence. The Crown that wields it in your name, the Masters we answer to. The Masks we hide behind and look into, the Actors in our life and roles we act out. And the Forces guiding it all.

(I may decide on more suits later, still a few concepts missing in the deck, but I really love the current setup of the symbols)

Tarot of the Fae - Numbers 1

The 'numbers' are symbols, they have broad representations and can symbolize very different things depending on the suit expressing them.
Void - no symbol - Inversion, absence
Eye - a monochrome eye - perception, surface level, single mindedness
Edge - A curved line - Duality, precipice, division, danger
Monument - A triangle/pyramid - Work, intention, construction, progression, improvement
Crossroads - An X - Decision points, confusion, becoming lost, insecurity

Tarot of the Fae - Numbers 2

Star - A star - Fate, the divine, circumstance of birth, the immutable predefined self
Shield - A hexagon - Borders, protection, isolation, defense, home
Treasure - A 7 pointed star (imagine the sparkle in comics on a gold piles) - Fortune, misfortune, the unexpected, providence
Loop - Either an empty circle or the infinity sign, but not sure yet - Nature, recurrence, routine, history, future

Tarot of the Fae - Numbers 3

Legion - Currently imagining a symbol kinda like... an upside T with 6 extra lines coming out of it, fanning out towards the top -Incomprehensible, the ultimate/final (Fitting that this was the one that brought me over the character limit, requiring a 3rd post all to itself, lol)

And that's what I got so far. I'm happy with the general idea. Need to work with it some more. Conceptualize actual art per card, who I could commission to do it, if I can even manage that. Maybe need to work in another suit or two, I feel like there's some concepts it's missing. And rework a few that are a little more edge case or where there's too much overlap or not clear enough symbolism. Please share your thoughts if you have any! Can also clarify thoughts on specific cards if you want!

Monument - Journey
Crossroads - Transition
Star - Prophecy
Shield - Justice
Treasure - Comedy
Loop - Truth

Hm... I realize my deck Doesn't have The Hero in it, and I feel that's important. But I do have both family and parent... Does The Star of Masks fit Hero well enough?
