it's okay to feel sad or be upset at a particular thing, but I don't like the idea of being a Debbie Downer. Often keep mum, and handle it on my own.

@stardust absolutely. I admit, most of my technology is more on web design 3D modeling and graphics. I did look up how Mastodon instances can be created on a server and it looked friendly to one of my favorites distros

@stardust The country aspect you mention is a big reason why I didnt think to use my server here. I am US based.

@h3xtacy I'd also hope that such an instance would have the typical rule on here about no transphobia, no sexism, racism, etc.

@h3xtacy I agree with you, and it was what I was saying to others, regarding a mastodon instance probably not requiring CW tags...and how that would be the likely policy if there was an instance that was designed for adult industry stuff. I know on Twitter that over 75% of the people I follow post images that have to be marked sensitive, even if it's the most basic of sexual imagery.

@h3xtacy Yeah. the big problem with Twitter right now is that it's not taking care of a lot of the elements that I embrace -- as a furry, as a person open and receiving of all sexualities, and yeah... as a sex worker

@h3xtacy I think that Macedon might be a good option for sex workers themselves if the instance was to allow for nudity and maybe require less things to be behind a CW.

that being said, I don't know if sex workers will be able to fully move over when it comes to their fans and or content buyers.

as a tech savvy person, I'd say that my sex work side is where I run into people who want everything easy.

@jaycie And in regards to some of the non hate related sucky life stuff... i imagien that if more Twitter people do mograte to Mastodon, bad nes toots will be back in your timeline. social sites content will often reflect the kinds of people that use it. as the light gets wider so does the circle of Darkness around it.
