I guess that warning on the Arch Wiki about issuing a secure erase command on a drive while plugged into a USB adapter is true. I done did brick it. It's a chinese cheapo one but it's still 256GB!
I'll see if there's a way to reflash the controller firmware, as I'm 99.9% sure that's what blew up. It must have gotten /dev/zero'd.

Definitely some filename fuckery going on. Taking a file from the folder and removing its funky naming totally lets me chuck it at the phone, no questions asked.
